The 1st Rural Parliament of Kosovo (2020) is an advocacy, capacity-building and networking platform dedicated to rural development. The Rural Parliament – a joint effort of the Network of Organizations for Rural Development of Kosovo, made up of organisations, activists and active groups, in cooperation with partners – brings together local and international participants in a unique event.
The main purpose of this instrument is to advocate for rural development in Kosovo and to ensure that the rural agenda and its priorities are reflected in local, regional and national policies.
The main beneficiaries are civil society organisations, informal groups, the business community, central and local government institutions, as well as other public and private actors.
