The Network of Organizations for Rural Development of Kosovo — a national network for advocacy, networking and sustainable rural development.
The vision of NORDK
Promoting and developing relationships and partnerships between different sectors of the rural community in Kosovo through advocacy activities aimed at sustainable rural development.
The Network of Organizations for Rural Development of Kosovo – NORDK was founded in 2013 and focuses primarily on the rural development sector, with all the aspects that contribute to sustainable rural development – including promotion, networking, advocacy and lobbying for agro-rural and socio-economic policies.
As a national network, NORDK’s activities extend throughout the Republic of Kosovo, with a special focus on rural areas and localities.
NORDK supports activities and implements campaigns especially in: strengthening the ideas of young farmers, strengthening small farmers’ associations, establishing local organisations in rural areas, and supporting partnerships and cooperation with the agribusiness community.
